Forgotten Dystopia is a pg 14 role-play meaning we aspire to have our members be 14 years of age or older to join as there are many sensitive and mature topics that will take place during this role-play that we do not wish to expose to a younger audience. These mature topics being abuse, extreme violence etc and the sensitive topics being a characters past trauma or a characters views on religion. These are all role-play events and should be taken seriously by the character not the creator of the character as what happens in role-play is not real life and what is discussed and said within it is not a person attack or opinion towards you. Children sometimes have trouble remembering that.

That said , Mature and Sensitive topics will occur in this role-play and to protect those who wish to role-play mature and sensitive topics with the exclusion of explicit sexual content from the people who believe because they are offended they are right and things must change to suit their snobby standards. We have set up a warning system.

Concerning Mature Content
Regarding gore, extreme violence and mature acts excluding sex as we ask you take it to private chat until your characters are done, only then can you return to the general public of the role-play. Posts regarding these topics should have a warning placed above stating “MATURE CONTENT BELOW” It must be bolded and must be underlined to count as a proper warning label, if it is not and your post is complained about you may be at fault.

Concerning Sensitive Topics
A Sensitive topic warning is a Mature and Sensitive content warning in one, so why have both? Well the reason we have both because us admins have agreed to allow religion within the role-play as during war and in general when people are desperate situations, many people turn to religion. Now, We don't want to dampen your character creativity, if they are strictly religious and preach it often then this warning allows you to do so without the risk of being reprimanded by an admin. The same goes if your character is strictly against religion and likes that to be known, this sensitive topic warning is here to allow you full creativity with your characters without the risk of getting into trouble. We admins understand this is a role-play and things said within it are not to be taken seriously but some people do anyway, this warning will keep you from being the one at fault if they complain to an admin or staff member.

A sensitive topic also includes if your character is speaking of their abusive past, drug history, trauma such as rape, etc. Posts including these and other related topics must have a “SENSITIVE CONTENT BELOW” warning above the post. Like the Mature Content warning, the Sensitive Content warning must also be bolded, underlined and provided at the top of your post before the post begins to warn your fellow role-play members before they read.

Aging System
To help you properly age your character in a way that corresponds with the role-plays time line, the admins have created a chart for you breaking down a year of role-play and what that is real life time as we admins being experienced role-players are aware tat time in role-play moves much faster than real life.

2 Months = 6 Months/24 Weeks
1 Week = 3 Weeks
